Commission, custom & bespoke looks at some of the ‘one off’ projects Jurraf has completed
Bookcase made from rough Hardwood
This commissioned project was recently completed for a long standing client.
A finishing touch and one of the many custom and bespoke jobs throughout a Victorian era renovation in The Park.
The furniture serves as both a room divider, shelf or bookcase. As you can see from the images. There is a lot of work to involved in getting to a uniform material https://jurraf.uk

Custom ‘flying shelves’
This project was to enable a client to showcase their pottery collection in this great Arts & Craft period house
Built and pretty much painted off site. These load bearing shelves were designed to hide the fixings.
A length of skirting board was matched to the original, as well as a simple cupboard. We also introduced led lighting
Commission Jurraf Custom porcelain stairs
A Victorian ground floor flat with basement living quarters and a further cellar craved out of Nottingham sandstone is the situation. The presenting issues were the original stone steps into the basement.
They were carpeted over timber treads. The issue however, a previous historic leak in conjunction with the dwelling being damp prior to the new owner, had resulted in mouldy timber faces and treads.
custom built made to order
20mm bull nose porcelain steps each of the 21 cut slightly out tapered to account for the 25mm discrepancy from top to bottom
Grade 2 custom built bookshelf
Built modular and square off site and hanging on a French cleat this bookcase offered up to the space resulted in a wedge shape being removed in order to allow for the uneven original floor.
Following that, the rest of the instal whet ahead and finished with paint
